The Charlottesville Pie Fest came about as a result of the CvillePieDown, a quick-and-dirty competition that began on Twitter to determine who makes Charlottesville’s best pie. While only two bakers participated in the PieDown, The Charlottesville Pie Fest is open to anyone who wishes to enter.

The Pie Fest is  a celebration of both pie and the fantastic community in which we live.  To give back to that community, proceeds from the Pie Fest will benefit a PACEM, a shelter for Charlottesville’s homeless population.
