Cville Pie Fest

The Cville Pie Fest is always delighted to work with PACEM. Our pie raffle and tastings were a big hit in our initial year, both with the crowd and with PACEM. If you aren't familiar with them, PACEM is, well, here it is in their own words:

PACEM is a community homeless shelter - a grassroots organization using available spaces and volunteers to provide shelter and compassionate support for the homeless in our city.

Through PACEM, Charlottesville area congregations of many faiths welcome homeless “guests” for 1-2 weeks at a time - offering a safe, warm and welcoming place to sleep for neighbors who would otherwise be out on the streets.

Your financial contribution helps provide training for trained shelter staff and  engages the more than 3,000 volunteers who provide food and companionship in our shelters. All donations to PACEM are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
